Christmas morning, 7:40, and every box in the pile has already been opened once. One lift and a Santa springs out — push him back down and they'll do it again before you've finished your coffee.
Photos and notes from last Christmas morning, sent in by the people who were there.
Aisha O.Verified“Didn't think I'd be buying a second one but here we are. Gave it to my nephew early because I couldn't wait and now my own kid needs one for the actual day. My fault entirely.”Fatima B.Verified“I saw something similar in a shop for nearly double and it looked no better. Seemed fair for what it does. Two for the price of what one would have cost me on the high street.”Alondra O.Verified“The kids took turns showing my abuela and she got such a kick out of it. Honestly that was worth more than the thing itself. Simple, no batteries, nothing to explain to anyone.”
Better price than the ones in storeI saw something similar in a shop for nearly double and it looked no better. Seemed fair for what it does. Two for the price of what one would have cost me on the high street.

Ordered another for my sisterOrdered another for my sister after she saw mine. She has three under eight so she went for the three pack. Reported back that it was the best twenty minutes of quiet she got all December.

Held up better than I thoughtWas worried the spring would give out after a week of heavy use. It has been opened what I would guess is several hundred times at this point and it still throws the character up the same as day one. No sag, no jamming.

goes back in its own boxgoes back in its own box and packs flat so I've put it away for next year. nice not to have another thing to find storage for.
Tina V.Verified01/14/2026
Kept them busy while I cookedThis is the actual value for me. They were occupied by the tree with this thing for a solid stretch while I got dinner going. Not a toy that needs supervision, not a toy that makes noise, just something they kept opening.
Ravi B.Verified01/14/2026
Good for a house with cousins visitingWe had six kids in the house over the holidays and this was the thing they all wanted a go on. Ordered the three pack which turned out to be a good call because one box and six children is a math problem I didn't want.
Brianna N.Verified01/13/2026
Good for the office exchange tooUsed it for our Secret Santa at work and it got the loudest reaction of anything on the table. The guy who got it kept springing it at people for the rest of the afternoon. Definitely better than the usual candle situation.

Bought for my husband as a jokeBought this for my husband as a joke because he collects silly desk things and now it lives at his office. He tells me people come by to set it off. Not the use case I expected but it works.
Imani W.Verified01/13/2026
No instructions includedThere was nothing in the box explaining how it worked which is fine because its obvious, but I did wonder for a second if I was missing a piece. Works great once you just try it. Four stars only because a tiny card would have saved me thirty seconds of confusion.
Val A.Verified01/12/2026
Finally not the boring giftFour years in a row I've brought something forgettable to the family thing. Bath sets, gift cards, you know the drill. This year my brother in law actually pulled his phone out to film his kid opening it. Small victory but I'll take it.
Meredith L.Verified01/12/2026
Color is a bit different from the photosThe red on the Santa is a shade deeper than it looked online. Not a big deal and my son didn't notice or care, but mentioning it since I did a double take. Everything else as described and the spring is good.

I assumed it would feel like a dollar store toyI assumed it would feel like a dollar store toy from the photos and honestly it is plastic, no pretending otherwise. But the lid snaps properly and the mechanism has a decent click to it. Only thing is I wish the packaging was a little nicer since I was giving it as a gift. Wrapped it myself and it was fine.
Naomi K.Verified01/11/2026
Slightly smaller than I picturedSlightly smaller than I pictured from the listing photos, which isn't a complaint exactly, just be aware. Still perfectly good and the spring action is strong for something this size. My daughter carries it around in her coat pocket.

Fine but not the miracle I was hoping forIt works, and the kids did like it. But my youngest lost interest after about twenty minutes and went back to the lego. Older one kept at it much longer so maybe its an age thing. Not a bad buy, just not quite the all morning thing I was picturing for both of them.
BoxburstThanks for the honest note, and fair enough — attention spans vary a lot at that age and we'd rather you tell us than not. Good to hear it landed with your older one. If you ever want to talk it through, our team is easy to reach.
Wendell B.Verified01/10/2026
Not sure this is meant to hold a full sized giftI tried putting a wrapped present inside before giving it and the lid wouldnt close properly and then the spring wouldnt fire right. Ended up giving it empty which felt a bit odd. Maybe I misunderstood what it was for but I thought it was a gift box you put something in. The pop up part does work on its own.
BoxburstThank you for taking the time to write this, and sorry for the confusion. The box needs the spring chamber clear to fire properly, so it holds something very small at most rather than a full gift — we've since made that clearer in the description, and the free guide covers exactly what fits without jamming it. Please do reach out to our support team, we'd be glad to sort this out for you.

The reset is the whole thingI've bought plenty of novelty gifts that get one laugh and then sit on the counter until spring. The difference here is that the kids can reload it themselves so they keep going. If an adult had to reset it every time it would have been abandoned by nine am.
Jabari E.Verified01/09/2026
Still working in FebruaryBeen in use since Christmas and it's still going. No weakening in the spring that I can tell. My daughter has been taking it to her grandmothers house and back so it's had a fair bit of travel too.
Gerald W.Verified01/08/2026
No batteries is the underrated partEvery other thing my grandkids got this year needed AAs that I didn't have. This one just works. Picked it up, lifted the lid, snowman popped out, put it back, done. Simple stuff.
Rashad R.Verified01/08/2026
No setup at allCame out of the box ready to go. Didn't have to figure anything out or read anything. Lifted the lid to test it before wrapping and that was the whole process.
Verified Buyer01/08/2026
The gasp was worth the moneyMy daughter actually gasped. Genuine involuntary gasp. I've bought a lot of presents and that's the first time I've gotten that reaction from anything under thirty dollars.
Jin-Soo P.Verified01/07/2026
Light but not fragileIt's lightweight which makes sense given the spring has to throw the character clear of the box. I was expecting flimsy and it isn't. My son dropped it off the kitchen table and nothing happened.
Anonymous01/07/2026
does what it saysdoes what it says. kids liked it. no batteries which is the main thing for me.
Dana K.Verified01/06/2026
worth it just for the videoworth it just for the video I got of my niece the first time
Frederick D.Verified01/06/2026
I was worried about it jammingI was worried about it jamming with kids handling it roughly. Turns out the mechanism is pretty forgiving, only issue was when my grandson tried to close the lid with the character half seated, which obviously doesn't work. Press it all the way down and it's fine.
Darius S.Verified01/05/2026
Good, wish there were more designsWorks exactly as shown. Kids liked it. Six designs is fine but I have three kids and two of them wanted penguin so I ended up with a duplicate. More options would help families with more than a couple of kids.
Blake K.Verified01/05/2026
I'm on my feet all day and this bought me a breakI'm on my feet all day with work and Christmas morning is usually no different. Sat down for twenty minutes while they were occupied with this. That's the review.
Kendra E.Verified01/04/2026
Still on the living room floor at eleven amBought this as a filler and it turned into the main event. My 7 year old figured out he could reset it himself which meant I wasn't being asked to do it every thirty seconds. Sat down with coffee for the first Christmas in about four years.
Andrés L.Verified01/04/2026
Kids figured it out immediatelyMy four year old took two tries to work out the reset. My seven year old took one. After that I was not involved which is exactly what I was hoping for.
Consuelo D.Verified01/03/2026
Perfect stocking fillerSmall enough to fit in the stocking and it does something, which is rare at this price. My grandson opened his first and then the other two wanted a turn so there was a queue. Should have bought three.
Wei L.Verified01/02/2026
My daughter recommended this to me actuallyMy daughter recommended this to me actually, she saw it somewhere online. Got two for the grandchildren. They both wanted the reindeer so I had to get a second reindeer. Learn from me and ask first.
Sue E.Verified01/02/2026
Didn't think I'd actually use it more than onceDidn't think I'd actually use it more than once but it's become a thing where the kids spring it on each other. Been happening for weeks now. Not what I bought it for but I'm not complaining.
Owen G.Verified01/01/2026
Christmas morning went differently this yearUsually by eight the presents are done and everyone is bored and I'm picking paper off the carpet. This year my two were passing it back and forth trying to scare each other with it. Not what I expected to be the highlight but I'll take what I can get.
Héctor T.Verified01/01/2026
Took a bit longer during the sale rushTook a bit longer to arrive than the estimate said, I think because of the sale, but it still got here on the 20th so no real problem. Product is good. The reindeer is the best one, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Alondra O.Verified12/31/2025
My abuela loved watching the kids with itThe kids took turns showing my abuela and she got such a kick out of it. Honestly that was worth more than the thing itself. Simple, no batteries, nothing to explain to anyone.

Marcus L.Verified12/29/2025
bought a second one for my other nephewbought a second one for my other nephew after the first one went over so well. shipping was quick both times.
Tomás F.Verified12/28/2025
Ordered two, no regretsTwo kids, two boxes, zero arguing. Got the reindeer and the elf. The spring is firmer than I expected, my daughter needs both hands to press it back in and she thinks thats part of the game.
Esperanza R.Verified12/27/2025
Arrived faster than expectedOrdered on the 15th and it showed up on the 19th which gave me plenty of room. Was nervous about cutting it close. No issues.
Questions, answered
The reset is what separates it from most novelty gifts — the spring reloads by hand, so opening it is something they can do themselves, over and over, without anyone reloading it for them.
That's why it tends to stay in the room rather than end up on the side table.
If it doesn't hold them past the wrapping, the 60-Day Christmas-Morning Promise covers you.
It works either way.
As a Secret Santa or a stocking filler it stands alone because it does something, which most gifts at this price don't.
Some people hide a small wrapped sweet inside it — the free guide covers how to do that without jamming the spring.
You choose.
Santa Claus, Little Angel, Snowman, Teddy Bear or Reindeer, selected when you order.
Ordering more than one lets you pick a different character for each, so nobody ends up with the same.
It's moulded PLA with a steel-loaded lid mechanism.
It's light, because it has to be for the spring to throw the character clear, but the lid has a definite snap and the character needs a firm press to seat.
It isn't a soft toy and it isn't a hollow shell.
